Music for the Illuminated is a powerful nine-minute absolute-music piece written purely for the sake of music-making.a This enlightening journey was dedicated to the William Paterson University Concert Band.

Music for the Illuminated is a nine-minute absolute-music piece.  It was composed around the end of my third year of undergrad and was a major learning experience in my music-theory studies.  The music is a continuous piece with different sections that were all written freely of intended musical structure. I dedicated this work to the concert band at my alma mater of William Paterson University, for all the wonderful memories I’ve had playing in it.
